How To Build Mudroom Shelves

John Galliano in turmoil ... Destination

And now, I've gotten just one short week away from everything, especially the fashion world for the event is happening this year in the fashion world: the Galliano was suspended from his post as artistic director at Dior.

So for all those like me who do not quite follow, we will summarize ...

Around 25 February, in the Marais, John Galliano allegedly made anti-Semitic remarks.

So I, when I read it, first reaction: presumption of innocence!

When I read the reports of the press, I felt that all journalists were ready to bury this creative genius.
Moreover, it does they will not because, ultimately, the House of Dior has decided to suspend the activities of its Artistic Director. The reasons for this suspension is the will of the leaders of the Parisian House to disassociate themselves from anti-Semitic character.
Presumably it is much more an economic decision to avoid damage to the brand that could affect its sales. However, this is a suspension ...
This suspension falls even worse than the Paris Fashion Week began.

Today, we read in some articles that witnesses present at the scene revealed that they did not hear the words in question.

A Following this case , counsel for John Galliano filed suit for defamation . The case is ongoing but it is likely that if is evidence that anti-Semitic remarks have not been made, the person who complained will have his pay, if only in damages.

Meanwhile, having heard of the case, you end up with a second "honest" citizen for making a complaint about racist worn by our beloved British there would be some this time.
I do not want to call into doubt the "good word" uttered by the honest citizen. However, I always doubt when a person appropriately for this kind of story. I more likely to believe that it is seeking a moment of glory and I find it moving.

Does Dior by John Galliano dismiss the current state of things? The racial slurs and anti-Semitic, certainly a fault but they do not constitute serious misconduct justifying dismissal alone .
However, economic interests are strong, we can suspect that Dior and its parent company LVMH, will tend to push its artistic director to the exit door, as was the case for Yves Saint Laurent ( out, following his dismissal, Yves St. Laurent had the idea to found his own house with Pierre Berge, and it was a good thing ).
will ensue, so long and tedious trial court to determine whether the industrial tribunal Dior was entitled or not to dismiss John Galliano ... but we are not even there yet, this remains hypothetical domain.

Is it really in the interest of the Dior designer John Galliano to dismiss? Since coming to position of Artistic Director, John Galliano has given new life to the Paris couture house, as this had proven once again during the last haute couture collection for Spring / Summer 2011 designs inspired Oats, jewel creation.
In addition, John Galliano is part of not only the most promising talents of his generation, but in addition, it is among the most influential designers of this century.
The case appears even more laughable when you know it is the source of cultural intermingling and has been since its very first parade.

If Dior decided, as a result of this case, to dismiss John Galliano, it would lose far more than it would gain, his image became somewhat abraded . Whoever clear, however, winning all this mess started with an "-a- he said that-while-he-was-drunk ( the opposite person to be as certainly some bit), John Galliano would be perceived as so ridiculed and misunderstood genius but oh so talented.

If I can give my point of view ( as if I did not already since the beginning of this article ), I think we will have to wait until every son of the ball are drawn to finally get the real implications of this case. Meanwhile, the world of fashion is holding its breath waiting to see if John Galliano decided to jump or be pushed, the abyss is not very far ( and other artists with long teeth waiting behind loggerheads and pencil in hand ).

Who will live will see. continued ...

Edit :
few hours after publishing this article I have read HERE that Dior had permanently separated from John Galliano. This is due to a video posted on the net where you could see the creator uttered an "I Love Hitler".
The consequences of this dismissal has more impact than we start the week Paris Fashion Week. What will happen there for the Dior fashion show planned? Will it be canceled?
Personally, I think such an offer longer held due to alcohol inhibition of genuine adoration for Hitler's rise to the massacre of Jews during the Second World War. I remember all about from their contexts are not necessarily the same meaning.
I sincerely hope that the veil is finally drawn on this whole thing and John Galliano will survive ...
